Nice but I wish the vanishing wasn’t at the bottom edge of the image. Also is there any way to recrop to get some of the desert in? Sorry but my eye is drawn to the vanishing point and I can’t help but wonder what they vanish into. If you had not said desert, I would not have known.
Ditto to Lee’s comment… My eye was looking for the horizon. Not necessarily to see desert, but to frame the infinity somewhat. That being said, this is still a keeper to me… I like the abstract art vibes that it gives. Thanks for sharing, Joe.

When I saw the other photo of pwoer lines on twitter I thought “damn, even Joe McNally made that shot!” because in the GCC countries power lines are shot to death… but never like this.. it’s a beauty cheif!
I love this image, especially the uniform balance and patterns of the seemly random details. It reminds me of musical notation list.

I’m glad that the desert wasn’t included as it gives a purity to the lines and looks almost ‘graphic artist’ like. The changing contrast of the black lines is what draws me into this picture not the vanishing point.
As a 40+ year utility professional I think that is a beautiful site. You might not agree but we have difficult time charging our camera/flash batteries without it.
