A creative life can take many twists and turns, and the remarkable thing about it is that you can pursue it at any age, and at any point in the arc of one’s life. Honored to have participated in a sponsored partnership webcast with Brookdale Senior Living called: “Creativity: Fuel for Living.“
It was a fun, lively discussion, led by the talented, award-winning host Ashley Eicher, who asked great, thought-provoking questions. Ashley and I had some excellent banter as we investigated the idea of not only living a creative life, but also knowing there will be ups and downs, peaks and valleys, and how to preserve your creativity as you age, remain engaged, and live life to its fullest.
We actively discussed the notion of curiosity, about the world at large, and the world immediately around you as being key to sustaining and exercising creative impulses, and activities. Creative personal expression can come in any form – photography, writing, painting, dancing, so many outlets and activities. To be curious is to continue to live with an eager an engaged mind.
I hope that the webcast provides some ideas, inspiration, and maybe that bit of motivation and reminder to try something new, or pick up an old hobby again.
