Happy to announce we will be going back to the UK this fall, and working once again with Nikon School UK, in London, and staging Speedlight workshops. They have been a lot of fun over the last couple of years, so, once again, Annie and I will be heading to one of our favorite places in the world. Here is the link for the hands-on workshop, staged at Nikon House, on Margaret St. in the heart of London. We work with a wonderful array of models and dancers, such as Kat Kleve, below, both in the studio, and out on the street. Kat is indeed a hearty soul, out there in the November weather in dance attire.
This year, additionally, looks like we’ll be joined by Amber Tutton, who Annie and I met at the TPS show last year in Birmingham. Only shot with her on the show floor, but she is terrific in front of camera.
We’ll work with the new Nikon technology, such as the new SB-5000 Speedlight system, and experiment with the radio version of TTL flash photography. This year, they’ve added a new event, a seminar style day of demonstration and instruction at the Weston Theatre in the Museum of London. It’s an all-day session of Q&A, tips, flash strategies and techniques, new technology…and lunch. And coffee:-))) We will blast through an array of scenarios, from simple one light stuff to much more complex multi-flash situations, involving the color, quality and direction of light.
