LOVE these shots, including that first one of “the hat”, but gotta be honest: photographically I like it a lot, but what intrigues me the most is that hat.
Sounds silly, yes? But that hat is illusive. I’ve been searching all over Colorado, and the web, for a wide brim fedora like that. Seems we don’t believe in them here.

I’ve never run across Jerry, but have been following RC since he first started with NAPP. I agree that he’s a very good trainer, easy to follow, patient, good explanations, all the “right stuff”. That shot of his family tells an entire story.
Did Jerry win the weight loss bet in the long run?

The whole thing was great, but the Safari is where I got a chance to give myself a problem and try to resolve it. With some input from you, Laurie and Moose, I managed to figure out how to overcome my little exercise and get the result I wanted. It involved a bit of trial & error and a lot of mumbling to myself in frustration, but now I can now claim I’ve successfully shot the side of a barn.
